Earlier this month we hiked from Weston NT Car Park to Branscombe and back, using the cliff path one way, the beach on the way back. With warm weather this seemed to be the right move as it was cooler by the sea in the afternoon.
On Sunday I revisited the headland at the eastern end of the beach at Budleigh Salterton. The view (I was in a kayak, so no photo!) of the East Devon coast was superb but what really stood out is the scar formed by the February rock fall.

If you lunch at the Sea Shanty Café in Branscombe, do try the pasties, particularly the lamb and mint.
Here's a photo looking down on Branscombe Mouth.
